Just trying for the first time and noticed CommandUI doesn't recognize post types in ACF. Is there a pdf cheat scheet with the shortcuts somewhere? I find it hard to read.

@"mechanicus.nl"#p520 If I understand you correctly, the confusion is that the `Cmd` | `Option` | `Control` items in that list should probably not be shown until you select the `Internal > Keyboard Shortcuts` action. That it shows from the root level all the hierarchy is probably confusing, and I should change that.

There's no PDF list of all global shortcuts, it depends a lot on which plugins are installed, and where on WordPress you're currently at.

Can you clarify that part? Does it not recognize post types created by ACF? - That should be working.

Perhaps there is a key in CommandUI to get a index of the shortcuts? I realise there are not a lot but I am a bit mislead because sometimes I get keys that I don't know what they are for. Or at least I don't understand the context.

Yes, they are. But under the Post Type scope.

There is a shortcut pt for opening the post type search directly as well.

Anything under go to is for admin menu items in the WordPress admin sidebar. In this case, it's a confidence that ACF also has a post type admin menu. In CommandUI that will bring you to the ACF page where it lists the post types.

To search across all your post types in CommandUI, go in to Post Types first (pt).

I hope that makes sense.

I admit it can be confusing to some people, because they expect that everything is available from the root search.

So they try to find "hello world" from the root search and nothing comes up. The correct way would have been either:

Post Types + Enter (to select it, "go into"), + hello world.
or, even faster, when CommandUI is closed, pt + hello world (pt being the global shortcut for opening the post type search)
